Installing carpet, providing excellent customer service and working hard are just a few of the many lessons learned from my dad who owned Villa Carpets in Warren, MI followed by his retirement from J.L. Hudson's in Detroit, MI where he installed carpet for over 40 years.

While attending high school at De La Salle Collegiate in Warren, MI and earning a Bachelor's degree in Marketing from Walsh College in Troy, MI, I installed carpet every weekend with my brother and dad for my parent's family business in Warren which was operated out of their home where I was raised. Villa Carpets is still owned and operated by my cousins Dan and Carol Colo, so if you need flooring for your home or business, please be sure to call or visit their showroom.

When my parents decided to close the family business, I realized how much I enjoyed and missed installing carpet. So after working over 18 years in the marketing industry, I decided to quit my Global IT Marketing Manager position at Stefanini in Southfield, MI and purchase Classic Boat Decks in Harrison Twp from Tom Robinson which he created, owned and operated for 11 years. I changed the business name to Classic Boat & RV Carpet since I service the RV market as well.

Being a business owner has allowed me more time and flexibility with my family which was limited when I worked for other companies. I also enjoy the meticulous work and pride I take in every job I do since I treat every boat and RV like it's my own.
